Hello Sweet friends, thank you for stopping by!
It’s no secret I love to decorate with the seasons, so as we get closer to cooler weather I thought I’d add a few late summer touches to our living room.
I wanted to keep this space simple so we added natural touches like fresh garden roses with hydrangeas and a Texas sage tree we found at Home Depot. The burlap pillow is from my sweet friend Lisa from Farmhouse on Boone.
Vintage pottery mixed with old books has always been my favorite way to add character and charm in a space. Who doesn’t love a cozy spot to curl up with a good book and cup of tea? We also found the framed vintage painting at a local shop for a steal at $10.
I added fresh garden roses in a farmhouse pitcher above the piano to add the perfect pop of color to our neutral decor. Our antique dough bowl from Painted Fox is still one of my favorite purchases. There are endless ways to use them in your home decor and easy to switch out for the seasons.
Overall I love the mix of old and new but cant wait to start adding little touches of Fall. What are a few of your favorite ways to decorate with the seasons?
